CALL ME CRAZY

Call me nuts...

I joined Bally's of all places! The grand meat market of them all and I joined. And, in the same day...I signed up to swim, bike and run a triathalon!

Call me bored...

Call me impulsive...

Call me crazy!

But first I must get over my fear of fishies and lakes where I can't see the bottom. Plus all that seaweed garbage?! ICK! Gimme some chlorine and green hair in place of all those fishies and seaweed. And lake water...I'd rather sip sludge.

Good thing the 600 yard swim is first and the 5K run is last. I'm sure I'll survive the swim, but the run?! It's been awhile!

Oh well...at least I have a partner in crime, someone who 'inspired me' to do this in the first place! Jen, thanks for getting me out of my lazy funk! Now, if only we can get our boys to do the same!

THINGS I WANT TO DO IN MY LIFETIME

Probably not as obtainable as I think, but hey, it's great to be a dreamer!
These are in no particular order...

1. learn how to sail
2. go to Italy
3. step foot on all 7 continents. (only 5 more to go, ha!)
4. learn how to SCUBA (and not be afraid of the fishies!)
5. "compete" in a triatholon (ha, doubtful...I'd have to learn to run!)
6. have kids
7. have a successful career
8. be waited on for a day
9. windsurf
10. retire
11. retire to Door County with my husband
12. go to Hawaii every year with my husband
13. be able to AFFORD to go to Hawaii every year!
14. go back to school? (still debatable)
15. go back to Colorado and go whitewater rafting again
16. take gourmet cooking lessons
17. Join a gym (that's not busting the budget
18. get back into crafting (scrapbooking, graphic design, etc.)
19. really create and host my own website (learn HTML code)
20. be able to take life less seriously (like I did when I was in college and prior...how niiave I was!)
